Code of Ethics

When prosecuting criminal offences, prosecutors must act in a fair, impartial and objective manner. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has published a Code of Ethics for Prosecutors. The Code sets out the standards of conduct and practice that must be observed by prosecutors when working for, or on behalf of, the DPP.
